Andrew Davidson is a scuba-diving, piano-playing gym junkie who loves nothing more than a clever bit of wordplay. Large chunks of Dr Seuss and Spike Milligan stories were imprinted on his consciousness as a child, and he’ll happily recite these for anyone who demands it. Surprisingly few people do.
Andrew trained first in film and TV, then retrained as a journalist. He’s worked for One News and NewstalkZB. When he grew tired of chasing ambulances, he switched to advertising, and these days he chases brilliant ideas instead.
Now with over 15 years in advertising, Andrew has helped scores of brands from across a huge range of industries. He’s helped sell everything from hamburgers to house insurance, cars to casinos. He can communicate above-the-line, below-the-line, internally, externally, digitally, analoguely – and can even make up words when the right ones don’t exist.
