Marking 100 years
From small seeds mighty trees grow… given time. And after 100 years in business, Barfoot & Thompson has grown mighty indeed.
We helped them mark the occasion with a suitably epic TVC (also translated into Mandarin), and an intensive blitz of press and outdoor placements to ensure everyone in Auckland knew.
The launch
As the TV commercial went to air, billboards and street furniture across Auckland reinforced the message.



The Tactical
After giving the “100 years” brand message time to embed itself, we introduced an additional layer of more tactical advertising messages. Five short video pre-rolls and matching press ads promoted the key values that Barfoot & Thompson have upheld for the last 100 years.
The Activation
What better way of demonstrating Barfoot & Thompson’s longevity than an activation that would last for another 100 years? We “planted” the idea of a legacy project that would benefit many generations to come… The Barfoot & Thompson Forest.
